Condescending customer help.
I
had euros in the holding account. It's the first time I needed to use
holding account funds plus add bank funds to pay an invoice. The method
for doing that was not entirely clear. I've wired many times, but IMO
the UI could be more explanatory for the average user like me. Reps need
to understand that they do this everyday and are the experts - others
might not be.
I don't suffer being talked down to like I'm an
idiot, because I'm not. Furthermore, I certainly don't give business to
places that do. I'm sure that internally I'll be blamed for being a
troublesome customer. Don't care - you lost a long-time customer. There
are places where I can get better rates anyway. Bye bye!

the pleasant person who first answered the phone able to quickly pull
up my account and redirect my call to my usual agent.
Familiarity with the agent. Exchanging pleasantries,
having the agent be able to tell me how the exchange rate has changed since my last transaction.

I called several team members extensions and no one was available. I wanted to wire money out of the country. I waited an hour and called again, this time did not use an extension. The person who answered was able to take care of me, find the information to wire the money to and it went very smoothly.
